MIWM General Practitioners

At MIWM, our Women’s, Girl’s and Children’s Health GPs are passionate about supporting you through every stage of life. With advanced training in Women’s and Children’s health, they provide personalised, expert care in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Our GPs are highly skilled in menstrual and reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy preparation and postnatal care, sexual health, perimenopause and menopause, pelvic pain (including in teenagers), vulval health, mental health, and general wellbeing. They also manage everyday health concerns such as coughs, colds, aches, and immunisations, ensuring your family’s health is looked after with the same dedication.

At MIWM, we value slow medicine. Our GPs take the time to listen, understand your unique needs, and guide you through your healthcare journey without feeling rushed. Appointments are often available within a week, so you can access timely, compassionate care when you need it most.

Whether you’re planning a family, navigating changes in your health, or simply looking for a trusted GP for you and your family, our GPs are here to provide personalised support every step of the way.

Children’s Health GPs

Trust that your little people are in great hands with our experienced Paediatric GPs, many of whom are also parents themselves. With a strong focus on the first five years of life, we support children through common early childhood presentations, growth and development concerns, and preventative care.

We also offer comprehensive paediatric services on-site, including pathology collection for children, immunisations under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) as well as privately funded vaccines, routine baby checks, and developmental assessments. From newborn care through to the preschool years, our team is here to support your child’s health journey with compassion, continuity, and expertise.

Our GPs work closely with our nursing team to provide gentle, evidence-based care, including childhood immunisations, in a calm and supportive environment for both children and their families.

You’re in a supportive space with the GPs at MIWM who understand your journey and are here to support you every step of the way. With a focus on reproductive, hormonal, and perinatal care, our doctors support women through adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Alongside our core focus on breastfeeding, infant feeding, and early parenting support, our GP team offers comprehensive, evidence-based care across a broad range of women’s and children’s health needs. This includes menstrual and hormonal health, contraception and fertility care, perimenopause and menopause, antenatal and postnatal support, pelvic pain (including in teenagers), vulval health, mental health, and general medical care for patients from all backgrounds. Our GPs also work closely within a wider multidisciplinary team to support sleep and settling, infant wellbeing, and overall family health in a coordinated and nurturing environment.

Neonatal and General Paediatrician

For more complex paediatric needs, MIWM offers access to an experienced Paediatrician who provides thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each child and family. With a strong focus on early life challenges, she is particularly supportive of breastfeeding and has a special interest in unsettled babies, feeding difficulties, and suspected food intolerances.

Understanding that unsettled behaviour, feeding concerns, and sleep challenges are common in early infancy. Our Paediatrician takes a thorough and holistic approach to assessment and management. This includes carefully exploring possible medical, developmental, and environmental factors, while providing clear guidance and reassurance to parents.

Our Paediatrician works closely with families to develop practical, individualised care plans, supporting both the child’s health and the wellbeing of parents so families can feel heard, informed, and confident in their child’s care.
