As a registered psychologist of 15 years, Lauren Beatty has supported individuals and families in both public and private settings. She works with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns and has a special interest in perinatal and infant mental health, and parenting support.
Lauren provides individual therapy for hopeful and expectant parents, as well as mothers and fathers, who are facing challenges such as adjusting to parenthood, bonding with their baby, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, stress, and difficulties in parenting or relationships.
With a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach, Lauren is passionate about helping clients engage meaningfully in their relationships and what matters most to them. She works from a developmental and relational lens, drawing on attachment theory, and evidence-based interventions. Lauren offers both short and long-term therapy, tailored to individual needs.

You can refer your patient for psychological services with a signed and dated letter. The referral should include:

Number of Sessions
You can decide how many sessions the patient will receive in a course of treatment, within the maximum session limit for the course of treatment. Patients need a new referral for each course of treatment. The maximum session limit for each course of treatment is set out below:
Initial course of treatment – a maximum of six sessions.
Subsequent course of treatment – a maximum of six sessions up to the patient’s cap of ten sessions (for example, if the patient received six sessions in their initial course of treatment, they can only receive four sessions in a subsequent course of treatment).
In a calendar year, your patient can get psychological therapy and FPS services up to the combined limit of 10 individual services.
