Lisa Ooi is a doctor of Chinese medicine with over 18 years of experience in the area of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
Lisa’s journey into Chinese medicine began when she was studying science at university. She became fascinated by the principles of Chinese medicine and decided to pursue further studies in the field. She completed a double degree at RMIT, followed by a year long internship in Nanjing, China, at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
With more than 18 years of clinical practice, Lisa has gained extensive experience in a wide range of TCM techniques, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping and moxibustion.
Her approach is holistic and patient centred. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms and takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns.
She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field.
