In 2011, she graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne Medical School, following her earlier degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University.
Jacinta has always had a strong interest in Women’s health and obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2014. She subsequently completed a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. Currently, Jacinta is working towards accreditation as a Neuroprotective Developmental Care provider.
Jacinta’s areas of interest include (but aren’t limited to): preconception counselling, antenatal and postnatal care, shared maternity care, perinatal mental health, contraception, menstrual issues, menopause management, cervical screening, management of unsettled babies and general childhood illnesses.
As a mother of three who has navigated her own challenges with sleep and parenthood, Jacinta brings a personal touch to her care. Outside of work, Jacinta loves going for adventures with her family, reading and cooking.
